Edmund Bujalski is Chief Executive Officer of RiverMend Health. In his role, he brings a wealth of leadership, operational experience and passion for patient care. Edmund has vast experience managing multi-faceted healthcare organizations, and has served on the board of RiverMend Health since 2014.

Prior to RiverMend Health, Edmund was Chief Executive Officer of Physical Rehabilitation Network, an organization comprised of approximately 100 physical therapy clinics across the western states. Edmund reversed a dramatic increase in A/R and implemented systems to ensure efficient operations. Prior to Physical Rehabilitation Network, Edmund was the Chief Executive Officer for Alegis Care (formerly known as Home Physicians Management, LLC), an organization that provides cost-effective home healthcare to the elderly and disabled. Edmund led the initiation of the Chronic Care Management program (CCM), a program that addresses the needs of chronically ill seniors with multiple co-morbid conditions and extremely high use of inpatient settings for conditions that can often be managed in the home setting. The CCM program improves quality of life for its Medicare Advantage plan’s members while reducing ER visits and hospitalizations. Under Edmund’s leadership, the program successfully expanded to multiple states and is thriving today.

At RiverMend Health, Edmund directs the future growth of the company’s nationwide network of leading recovery programs and provides strong stewardship of clinical, operational and financial resources. He will focus on strengthening and growing important alliances such as RiverMend Health’s academic partnerships that currently include the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and the University of Southern California. Edmund also works closely with RiverMend Health’s medical leaders to strengthen and expand RiverMend Health’s recovery programs and research endeavors to advance the standard of care to those with addition, eating disorders and obesity related diseases.

Edmund attended Harvard College and Harvard Business School where he gained a foundation for business acumen that has shaped his career. He is a native of Chicago and currently resides in Atlanta with his wife.
