Research Fellow, Nutrilite
Dr. Sheri A. Hunt is a research fellow for Nutrilite, a world leader in vitamins and supplements, skin care and beauty, sports nutrition and weight management products. In her role, Dr. Hunt utilizes a profound expertise in colloids, surface sciences and technological problem-solving, as well as global product development, product formulation, formula re-engineering, to ensure that the company maintains a standard of excellence. Adept at bringing scientific ideas from concept to prototype, and in the areas of project management, process engineering and scale-up solutions, Dr. Hunt holds an extensive skill set that she applies to several areas of her work. She has assisted startup companies to help keep operations running smoothly; her background in process and systems development and implementation allows her to adopt unique and innovative business solutions into her research initiatives.
Dr. Hunt is an award-winning researcher who has been praised for her work. In her current capacity as a research fellow for Nutralite, Dr. Hunt leads high-performance teams, provides excellent customer service, and mentors 20 engineers. She also commercializes new products and manages manufacturing operations throughout North America. She is responsible for driving and executing a global open innovation strategy for recognizing, evaluating and acquiring new technologies that will add the best of science to Nutrilite products, and for collaborating with project teams in a cross-functional team environment. With mounting dexterity in several arenas, Dr. Hunt is committed to utilizing her effective project management and coordination skills in order to meet established goals and objectives. In addition to mentoring and coaching junior staff members, Dr. Hunt applies highly-advanced theory, principles and concepts when addressing and solving research quandaries beyond given standards or boundaries.
Dr. Hunt has been awarded for her work on several occasions.
