Clinical Director, Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders
Dr. Dena Cabrera is the Clinical Director for Rosewood Centers for Eating Disorders where she manages the day to day activities of our residents and staff. She also speaks regularly on behalf of Rosewood on eating disorder prevention and treatment at the national and international level. Prior to joining Rosewood, she worked at Remuda Ranch and served in roles that included Clinical Specialist, Staff Psychologist, Director of Educational Outreach and member of the National Speaker’s Bureau.
Dr. Cabrera has a diverse clinical background involving individual, family and group therapy with both medical and psychiatric populations. She has particular professional interests and specialized training in neuropsychological and psychological assessment, dialectical behavior therapy, as well as the cognitive-behavioral treatment of patients with neuro-developmental disorders, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
